Dolce Vita Hat – Black
A black felt hat with a generous brim, made for sea air and long afternoons. It is the hat you see throughout our La Dolce Vita shoot in Mallorca, worn with white lace by the sea.
Inside, a black leather sweatband stamped in gold and a satin lining.
The hat was created in collaboration with Brandon Franklin of B.M. Franklin & Co., a hatmaker we have known and worked with for many years. Brandon learned his craft over more than five years at one of New York City's oldest hat shops, founded in 1922, and still works with century-old tools and time-honored techniques at his atelier in Atlanta's Buckhead Village. The embroidered crown on the hat is his signature, and the gold stamp on the sweatband carries both our names: Good Tidings Style × B.M. Franklin & Co.
It comes with our medal brooch: two Miraculous Medal charms, one gold and one turquoise enamel, to wear on the band. The Miraculous Medal is worn as a symbol of protection, keeping your light and energy close.

Finding your size
Step by Step: What Is My Hat Size?
- Locate a soft or cloth tape measure, preferably centimeters as the unit of measurement
- Start by placing the tape measure on the center of the forehead.
- Then wrap it around the head about 1/4" above the ear.
- Make sure it covers the occipital bone in the back of the head and the middle of the forehead.
