NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - PART 1 : OUR AIRSTREAM ADVENTURE.

As I am sitting on the plane heading from San Fran to Atlanta, one daughter on each side, all I feel is gratitue for the amazing adventure we experienced as a family.
Because it filled our souls so much I will be sharing the highlights of our trip as well as the things we would do different the next time around.
I will start by saying that, even though Nic has hauled many different vehicles (tractors and such) in his younger years and therefore felt (overly) confident to tow a 27′ airstream across California, ANYBODY can do this.
If you have passed your drivers license and speak basic English, you can make this adventure happen and check it off your bucket list.
Because our kids had fall break last week ( which was low season ) we booked our plane tickets only one week in advance with Priceline.com. We did have a layover in Chicago but the price was so sweet so what the heck it was worth a few hours on the road.
We simply started googling for an airstream in Northern California and found Elite rv vacations within minutes. They had the perfect airstream available we needed for our family.
Even if you’re used to the St. Regis, Ritz or a private yacht, this company thought about every possible detail to make our “glamping” trip magical. What mom doesn’t love having groceries already stocked  at arrival, what coffee lover doesn’t appreciate having a Nespresso maker on the road? There were even two flatscreen (yes 2) TV’s in the camper with satellite and DVD player (and silk sheets too).
Enough about the details, and thank you for baring with me as I am trying to explain in words how magical this has been for our family. I have always dreamt of doing this trip with Nic and the kids and thought you might enjoy joining the ride.
